Monocrystalline vs. Polycrystalline Solar Panels
In recent years, our government and Sustainable Energy Development Authority Malaysia (SEDA Malaysia) are actively advocating people’s use of Solar PV System.
As a result, most people know that the two major features of the Solar PV System are lowered electric bill and environmental friendly. Nonetheless, they don’t know that there are two (2) types of solar panels which are mono panels and poly panels, and also the difference between them.
Therefore, we made a comparison of solar panels to give you a better understanding of their pros and cons: –
If the roof space available restricts the size of the Solar PV System, pick more efficient solar panels. Because the extra cost of paying for mono plates will help you increase energy output. Nevertheless, a less efficient poly panel is a more economical option.
In addition, spending more money on powerful mono panels will result in higher returns on solar investment. Thus, in terms of the ratio of performance to price, mono panels are slightly better.
